Dogz Compete in High Voltage Classic

The Crunkdogz played in the High Voltage Classic this past weekend in Saskatoon – mostly as a tune-up for their three other tournament later this year including the GC Floor Hockey Classic in a few weeks time.

The Dogz competed against higher division opponents; and while the games were chippy at times; it was a great experience. The Dogz finished a dissappointing 0-3 losing but were in every game.

Highlites including Adam “Lumberjak” O’Dell’s barking debut, The Wall’s random STD test and playing some old time blind hockey in the dark. The Dogz’ raised over $300 for Ronald McDonald House.

GO DOGZ!

Red Dog Update: Will Not Play for Stealth or the Edmonton Oilers

It’s being reported despite pressure and possible bribery from Team Stealth; Red Dog, due to a Crunkdogz lifestyle and a crammed schedule, will not playing any games for Team Stealth or the struggling Edmonton Oilers. There is no word yet if the Stealth will officially pull out of the SSHBA.

There were also rumours that Red Dog did not want to play for the Stealth due to the homosexual tendencies of Ryan “Bricks and Straw” Devries. Many of the Dogz feel that if Red Dog were to be in the same dressing room as the former Weyburn Eagle; he would be in extreme danger of being violated. With the Eric Tillman situation still leaving a lot of Saskies shocked, the Dogz would prefer that Red Dog stay 50 meters away from The South Hill Jama as a few beer and Robaxicin may make Devries woozy and dangerous; thus making him prone to dry humping and slapping unsuspecting teammates.

The Dogz and Red Dog have nothing against Ryan Devries; but just want to make sure the rumours are untrue and that the Chienne du Rouge can solely focus on his role with the Crunkdogz.
